Is it true we first reach for plants in the garden which is closest to us?
My garden is drenched in shade, the house and the neighbours’ and my trees. In a garden full of shadow it is cool in Summer and cold in Winter. I have learnt to be humble. In this garden you cannot grow what you want, you can only grow what it lets grow.
The journals record 2014 to 2017 the working in the garden. Why did I stop writing in 2017? I can’t remember…but now I begin again.
